Emergency Contact List
Your emergency contact list will help you keep in contact with your family in case you are separated during a disaster.
- Complete an emergency contact card (PDF) for each member of your family. Keep the completed cards in a prominent location in your home as well as wallets, purses, etc.
- Choose a friend or relative that all family members will call if separated (preferably someone who lives outside of your area, as it is often easier to call long distance during an emergency than within the affected area).
- Once contact is made, have the contact person relay messages to other family members and friends.
